Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector organization is seeking applicants for a position on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS) Lead Systems Integrator (SI) contingent upon contract award.

 

The PARCS Lead SI will support the PARCS Weapon System Manager and be responsible for integration planning and coordination across the PARCS system orders and in-flight projects (current ongoing efforts) for sustainment and modifications. Responsibilities include the management and deconfliction of schedules and resources required to accomplish work requirements across multiple overlapping activities.

 

The PARCS Lead SI responsibility also includes the role of key technical liaison on weapon system integration to all stakeholders, providing insight into the system integration activities across projects and engineering disciplines. The Lead SI must communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches, findings, and direction. The Lead SI will conduct a weekly Integration and Test Working Group (ITWG) to coordinate the activities of multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and on-time change delivery across the integration environments at contractor and Government facilities and the weapon system sites.

 

The Lead SI will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the PARCS weapon system life cycle and its associated integration and test environments. The Lead SI must also be able to demonstrate an ability for problem resolution and improvement recommendations with strong time management skills. Experience in an MBSE program is preferred but not mandatory.

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s in a STEM discipline and 9 yrs of System Engineering experience or Master's Degree in STEM and 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering.

  • DoD Secret clearance that is or has been active within the last two years

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • PARCS systems level comprehensive experience in performance analysis, requirements verification and validation, and integration environments

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering
