ASRC Federal Holding Company HR Generalist / Business Partner in Colorado Springs, Colorado

ASRC Federal is currently seeking a HR Generalist/Business Partner in Colorado Springs, CO.

Key Role:

Provide Human Resources Business Partner support for a single or multiple business unit(s) within an operating group with a population of over 300 employees. Provide client facing, day-to-day HR guidance to line management in the areas of policy interpretation and implementation, compensation and total rewards, employee relations, affirmative action/EEO, organizational structure, workforce development, performance management and training to achieve the best possible business solution. Advise management and staff of relevant corporate personnel practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support onboarding and off boarding processes for employees

  • New Hire orientation process

  • Roll out HR programs and initiatives in the context of the organization's plans

  • Support program transitions where we hire large groups of incumbent staff in a short time frame

  • Coach and guide managers in actively managing employee issues, concerns, and engagement

  • Participate as key driver in integrating and creating corporate HR policies and procedures

  • Deliver training to managers and employees, as needed

  • Support corporate HR projects/programs (i.e. Performance Management, Talent Management, Reward & Recognition program, Employee Morale initiatives, etc.)

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated HR experience in several HR functional areas such as compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, Recruitment

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Experience delivering HR programs to local and remote locations for medium to large corporations with a centralized HR structure

  • Demonstrated success working with managers and legal department to resolve employee relations issues, with emphasis on educating first-line managers to prevent issues

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience presenting to senior level leadership

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and explain typical HR metrics

  • Experience integrating employees who join through transitions or acquisitions

  • Knowledge of Labor/Employment Laws

Additional Qualifications:

  • ADP & Costpoint Experience preferred but not required

  • SCA labor knowledge helpful

  • Compliance knowledge and experience with Affirmative Action Planning/AAPs

  • Full life cycle Employee Relations experience
