Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Integrator supporting the missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Schriever AFB, CO. Designs and develops solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recover, and business continuity planning. Provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrates new architectural analysis of cybersecurity features and relates existing system to future needs and trends. Embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction. Provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integrations and testing issues. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies. Network expert responsible for providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise around a wide range of cybersecurity technologies. Provides extensive technical knowledge and analysis of exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions. Candidate will prepare alerts and warnings for ISSM, write technical white papers, and assist in implementing measures per approved solutions. Candidate will interpret higher headquarters’ guidance to assist in the development/maintenance of policies and procedures, while evaluating new and existing security technologies; develop, review and update cyberspace defense and incident management procedures, Operating Instructions, internal processes, and other MDA CERT/CSSP documentation. The candidate must be available to work non-standard hours, although not standard.

Qualifications

Requirements:AS degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and 7 years of related experience to include Directory Services, Various Operating Systems, firewalls and various network types. Must have or obtain within 6 months of hire a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and or IASAE Level II certification with Continuing Education (CE). Candidate must be well versed in advanced engineering and administration of network security devices; to include research, evaluation, development, and implementation of network security solutions to meet DoD standards and best practices. Advanced experience with security analysis and solutions in a WAN/LAN environment. Candidate must have an active DoD Secret security clearance to start; must have or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
