Engility is seeking Site Leadswho will be responsible for technical direction, systems engineering and integration, architecture oversight, integration and transition to operations, and system sustainment and maintenance programs, associated with ground systems for experimental spacecraft, operational satellite systems, and new payload developments. These positions will be located at Kirtland, Schriever, and Buckley Air Force Bases.
As Site Lead you will work closely as our liaison between Government Customers and industry development organizations to promote and enable the design, development, integration, transition, and sustainment of complex and critical satellite ground systems.
Our engineers are asked to lead technical and programmatic work to monitor software development programs and engineer technical solutions for ground programs. The Site Leads will lead a specialized team to advise Government customers on technical assessments of cyber defense, open system architectures, cloud, automation, micro services, and commercial technologies and associated ground impacts, defining future enterprise ground architecture solutions.
Key functions include:
Development and assessment of enhanced and innovative concepts to deliver new space-to-ground capabilities and evaluation of capabilities, concepts, architectures, requirements, CONOPS, and interfaces of satellite systems.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to successfully pass a polygraph
BS in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or related technical discipline strongly preferred
14 years of experience in satellite communications systems and associated ground systems
Experience with definition and/or development on large scale systems
Expert knowledge of satellite ground segment architectures, development, and operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical and/or programmatic assessments
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting work priorities
